Shilling coin ring

Here is another version of a shilling coin ring. I made this one by punching out the center and hammering it into shape on a mandrel. It is a size 7.5. It is sterling silver. Made back when currency was actually backed by precious metals.

Pirate ring

Last night I made a ring from a shilling! Its a size 12 and would fit a man's hand (it fit my husband's hand anyway). It is sterling silver.

Prairie Dress

I just finished a prairie dress from a Folkwear pattern, complete with pocketed apron. It turned out very well and was pretty easy to sew. I might use this for my Mrs. Patmore costume!!!

The dress is 70/30 cotton and polyester, and the apron is 100% cotton. It is a size 20-22. I altered it a bit for me because the size of the pattern only went up to a 16-18.

Bloomin' Bloomers!

I just finished a cute pair of bloomers. I started with Simplicity pattern # 2777, but made quite a few adjustments. The waistband and leg bands are elastic with the band on the inside of the leg and in the waistband. I added a cute little black bow and some lace down the front leg seam.

These are a size 22, and suprisingly not too bulky like other ones I have seen. Sometimes they can end up looking like giant diapers.

Tool/Crafter's Wrap part 2

I have finished the leather tool kit that was a trade with my cousin Steve for an Indian Head ring ring. He makes beautiful one of a kind jewelry seen here here. The leather was originally white, bit
I dyed it mahogany. I used a recycled leather belt, also dyed, that has
"super star" embossed into it, and a zippered pouch for what-nots.
I kinda love this thing. All sewn on my indusrial machine.

Tool/Crafter's Wrap

Just finished the canvas prototype of a tool wrap. Working on a leather one for my cousin, Steve, for all his motorcycle tools.
